| In order to obtain a more central place in the museum, the shop (dating from 1999) was relocated to the former meeting room opposite the Civic Guard Gallery. The visitor now enters through a semi-transparent enclosed portal that leads to the ticket counter.
In order to gain space the bookcases have been placed against the walls. A glass door is in open connection with the hall of the museum cafe 'Mokum'.
