Mexico: a Divine Journey
De Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam
2002
On the basis of 250 artefacts from various Pre-Columbian periods and cultures, the history of Ancient Mexico is highlighted in this exhibition. Although the art of these cultures differs strongly stylistically, their religion and common notion of the cosmos show a clear relationship.

The design of the exhibition is inspired by the architecture, landscape and colours of Ancient Mexico. The result is robust, earthly and colourful.
